Eggling™ Herbs & Flowers

The precious little Eggling looks and feels like an extra large egg, but crack its top and discover a garden ready for sowing! Extremely popular in Japan, where it originated, the Eggling is made of white bisque (2 1/8” H x 1 7/8” Diameter). The Eggling comes with peat mixture and seeds already inside (a terra cotta tray and an extra seed pack are also included). Eleven varieties of plants are available, including many herbs and flowers. All are packaged in a colorful, distinctive gift box and presented in POP for store display. Cultivation is easy – all the plants grow for up to five months in the Eggling’s fortified peat mixture, after which the Eggling can be planted directly in soil. The Eggling is one hot seller all year long – it is so darling, it captivates customers who soon find themselves buying two, three or more!

Eggling™ Egg Hatches Plant

There are now eleven Egglings available including two new flowers – Dwarf Sunflower and Shasta Daisy. Each style comes in a colorful box with a distinctive logo and sticker to identify the plant right on top. The Herbs (Basil, Mint and Thyme) come in a green box and the Flowers (Daisy, Chrysanthemum, Petunia, and Sunflower) in a purple box. Wild Strawberry, Lavender de Provence, Prickly Cactus, and Spicy Red Pepper are each packaged in a distinctive and colorful box featuring the Eggling logo customized for the plant. For example, the wild strawberry shows a berry growing out of the Eggling. All the eggling boxes also feature a patterned motif on their sides to identify the plant. So mix it up – mixing styles makes retail displays colorful and appealing!
